Torys ranked #1 in three categories by LSEG for Q1

Torys has been ranked number 1 in the London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) Q1 2024 league tables.

LSEG ranked Torys number 1 in the following Canada Corporate Bonds league table categories:

• Legal Adviser — Issuer Ranked by Deal Count
• Legal Adviser — Manager Ranked by Deal Count
• Legal Adviser — Manager Ranked by Volume for deals valued more than $4 billion

Notable capital markets deals that were completed in Q1 2024 include:

• Fairfax Financial in its US$1 billion cross-border private placement of 6.350% senior notes
• British Columbia Investment Management Corporation in a C$1 billion re-opening of its 4.90% senior unsecured notes, Series 1
• Canadian Apartment Properties REIT (CAPREIT) in its establishment of an at-the-market (ATM) offering program of up to C$400 million of trust units
