Torys’ newest partner in the Montréal office Julie Himo has spoken with Québec legal publication Droit-Inc on her decision to join the firm.
For the last 20 years in her practice Julie has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor to Canadian and multinational clients across industries regarding cybersecurity governance, conducting strategic risk and privacy assessments and providing counsel on a wide variety of privacy issues.
“The firm wanted to further develop its personal information protection and cybersecurity practice. It was a very good opportunity and I will be able to build this practice in Québec and across Canada,” Julie said.
