Josh Lavine and Jeremy Opolsky named as 2021 Lexpert Rising Stars

Torys is proud to announce that partners Josh Lavine and Jeremy Opolsky have been named in the 2021 Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 list.

Josh practises a broad range of corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on M&A and corporate finance. He represents clients in many sectors and has significant experience advising issuers, investment banks and investors in public offerings and domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions. Josh also routinely provides guidance to public company clients on ongoing corporate governance and securities law matters.

As a partner in Torys’ Litigation group, Jeremy’s practice focuses on business law disputes, including complex commercial disputes, insolvency litigation, and public law matters. He often represents clients on the Commercial List, a specialty commercial court, in a wide range of commercial disputes, including shareholder, contractual, confidential information and fiduciary duty and trust disputes.
