Kyle Kashuba Named in Lexpert’s Rising Stars Awards

Calgary partner Kyle Kashuba has been recognized as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.

Lexpert recognizes a select group of in-house and private practice lawyers each year who have made a notable impact as legal professionals, as business leaders and as members of the community.

Kyle’s practice focuses on all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency. He also has significant experience in real estate, retail and manufacturing insolvencies. In his first year of partnership, he was appointed as amicus curiae counsel to the Court of Appeal of Alberta in the complex insolvency case Canada (National Revenue) v. Meyers Norris Penny Limited.

Kyle has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance, where he regularly advises clients on a variety of matters and trains other lawyers on insolvency law matters. He has also volunteered with the John Howard Society, Student Legal Services and Pro Bono Students Canada. He serves as an Executive Member of the Canadian Bar Association (National) Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Section.

The 2018 Lexpert Rising Stars Awards were presented in Toronto on November 8.
