Torys is proud to support the National Ballet School: Canadiana Gala as a sponsor. The annual gala aims to raise funds for Canada’s National Ballet School’s efforts to recruit and educate future generations of professional ballet dancers, while also demonstrating the broader positive social impact of dance.
Torys partner and director and Vice-Chair of the National Ballet School, Cornell Wright, along with Torys partner and NBS board member, Ken McCarter, attended this year’s gala. Cornell mentions how “Torys is proud to lend our support to the National Ballet School. We believe dance is an integral part of the arts, and it’s important that we do what we can to ensure it continues to flourish and touch our communities.”
At Torys, we recognize that we have a unique responsibility to the community as legal professionals. We support the National Ballet School’s initiatives and strongly commend their dedication to cultivating the important role dance plays among the fine arts in our society.
