January 21, 2016

Torys is pleased to announce that an article co-authored by partner and co-chair of our Competition and Foreign Investment Review Practice Dany Assaf and associate Rebecca Moskowitz has earned a nomination for the 2016 Antitrust Writing Awards. The article, Global Credit Card Wars: Litigation, Legislation, or Innovation as a Path to Peace?, was published in the Spring 2015 edition of American Bar Association journal Antitrust, and provides a comprehensive overview of the various competing issues involved in conflicts between merchants and credit card networks.

The Antitrust Writing Awards is an annual prize recognizing the best writing in antitrust issues as selected by a jury of industry academics, business leaders and peers. The award categories span academic and industry publications, as well as legal newsletters. The 2016 awards will be handed out at a gala dinner in April in Washington, D.C.
