Torys partner Trisha Jackson was honoured with the 2015 OBA Award of Excellence in Civil Litigation at a gala held last night in Toronto. The evening was hosted by the Civil Litigation Section of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and featured keynote speaker The Honourable Louise Arbour, former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and past UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
The OBA Award of Excellence in Civil Litigation is given to an OBA member who has made outstanding contributions to the practice and advancement of civil litigation. Trisha’s recognitions include leading rankings in Chambers Global and Best Lawyers in Canada for the last five years. She has a broad litigation practice and has appeared as counsel at every level of court in Ontario, in the Federal Court of Canada and in the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before administrative tribunals.
