Torys is very proud to announce that partner Wendy Matheson has been appointed as a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario in Toronto.
Wendy, a recognized litigator, has practised with the firm for 25 years. Along with growing her leading litigation practice, Wendy has cultivated significant experience as a legal educator, including as an Adjunct Professor and lead instructor at Osgoode Hall Law School. Wendy’s long-standing dedication to the legal community includes such highlights as her election as a Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2011 and her contributions to The Advocates’ Society and the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, among others.
Wendy replaces Mr. Justice F.N. Marrocco, who was appointed Associate Chief Justice.
