Torys contributes $2 million to University of Toronto Faculty of Law's Building Campaign

December 05, 2011

Torys is delighted to contribute $2 million to the building campaign of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Launched on November 29, the $53-million campaign will see the construction of a new building for the Faculty of Law, designed by the Toronto-based architecture firm Hariri Pontarini, and including "a multi-storey wing on Queen’s Park Crescent, an extensive interior renovation to the Bora Laskin Law Library, and a light renovation to Flavelle House."

Torys has a long standing relationship with the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, one of the leading law schools in Canada. Many of our lawyers are graduates of the University of Toronto and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mayo Moran, is a Torys alumna. We are proud to support the Faculty of Law's goals of providing state-of-the-art facilities for its faculty and students.
