First across the line: Torys ranks high in Precedent's Anti-Ranking

Torys was prominently featured in the Anti-Ranking column of Precedent's Fall 2010 issue. Anti-Ranking is Precedent's second annual review of Bay Street law firm culture following a survey of Toronto's 15 largest firms.

Front-Runners

In the Law Challenge, a legal industry competition held during the Sporting Life 10K run to raise money for Camp Oochigeas, Torys finished first, raising the most money and having the fastest team time.

Hoop Law

In Bay Street Hoops, a fundraising event by law and accounting firms, Torys won the women's division and was the second-highest fundraiser among law firms.

Author-ity

Dennis Mahony, editor of The Law of Climate Change in Canada, is featured for editing the first book of its kind on climate change law in Canada.
