The Globe and Mail Business for the Arts awards gala held at Torys' Client Centre

On June 3, Toronto's business and arts leaders attended The Globe and Mail's Business for the Arts awards gala, held at Torys' Client Centre.

Charles Baillie, retired chairman and CEO of Toronto-Dominion Bank, received the Edmund C. Bovey Award for his long-term support of the arts. Other honourees included Marcello Cabezas, who received the Arnold Edinborough Award as a young business leader who volunteers in the arts while building a career, and Raymond James Ltd., which received an award for best entrepreneurial partnership. Telus and Xstrata were also awarded for their corporate sponsorship of arts organization and events.
