Torys is pleased to announce that Robert Froehlich has joined the firm’s Calgary office as a partner in the Energy group. Having led some of Canada’s most significant and complex energy projects and transactions, Robert joins the team at a pivotal time for the Canadian energy sector.
Robert brings decades of experience advising domestic and international clients on transformational transactions and projects, including in connection with LNG, conventional and unconventional upstream petroleum and natural gas, heavy oil and oilsands, pipeline and midstream infrastructure, refining, electricity and renewable power.
As former President and Director of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation, Robert combines deep technical expertise with strategic insights into the energy sector.
