Torys ranked #1 in Canadian issuer debt for the first nine months of 2025 by LSEG

Torys has been ranked number 1 in All Canada Debt by deal count in LSEG’s Issuer Legal Advisor table. The table is part of LSEG’s Global Capital Markets Legal Advisors Review report for the first nine months of FY 2025.

Torys was ranked at the top after completing 17 deals in the first nine months of 2025. Notable deals include:

• British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, in respect of the assets of the Combined Funds which it holds in trust, in a C$1.5 billion re-opening of its 4.00% senior unsecured notes, Series 3, due 2035
• Choice Properties REIT in its C$500 million private placement of senior unsecured debentures, including C$350 million of 4.628% Series W debentures and C$150 million of 5.369% Series X debentures
• Avenue Living in its C$350 million private placement of 4.520% senior unsecured debentures, Series B, due 2028
