Torys is thrilled to announce that partner Jeremy Opolsky has been named in Benchmark Canada’s 2022 40 & Under list.
Jeremy is a skilled litigator who has in his time at Torys built significant experience working with clients to manage their challenging and often complex cases, offering sophisticated dispute strategy and advocacy. Earlier in his legal career, Jeremy was a Law Clerk to former Supreme Court Justice Abella.
Today, Jeremy’s practice focuses on business law disputes, insolvency litigation and public law matters, Jeremy routinely represents clients on the Commercial List in a wide range of disputes. He is an experienced appellate lawyer and has appeared numerous times in Division Court, Courts of Appeal of Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada.
In addition to his work with clients at the firm, Jeremy dedicates time to numerous pro bono cases and works with pro bono organizations, and he regularly teaches and lectures on a variety of topics at a number of law school faculties in Ontario.
