Torys listed as top energy and infrastructure advisor

Torys is proud to announce that our Infrastructure, Power, and Oil and Gas practices are leading the way in deals in both value and volume this year.

These practices advised on six Canadian deals with a combined disclosable value of US$1.3 billion in the first half of 2020 and are jointly ranked as the top Canadian legal advisor by deal count in Inframation and SparkSpread’s 1H20 League Table and Trend Report.

Additionally, Torys was listed as the top Canadian firm by both U.S. and Canada deal count league tables, having advised on seven deals with a combined value of over US$1.7 billion in the first half of the year.

The Inframation and SparkSpread league tables provide insight on the most active players by region, country and sector for project finance transactions in the first half of 2020.
