Henvey Inlet Wind Project Refinance
Torys acted as counsel to the 11-bank syndicate of lenders to Henvey Inlet Wind LP, a joint venture between Nigig Power Corporation and Pattern Energy Group LP, in the C$1.2 billion refinancing of the 300 MW Henvey Inlet Wind Project in northern Ontario.
The deal won Canadian Law Awards' 2022 Infrastructure & Projects Deal of the Year.
The Torys acted as counsel with a team led by Milosz Zemanek and that included Scott Kraag, Simon Williams, Brianna Cowling and Stephanie Gurrieri (project financing), Don Roger, Andy Gibbons and Diana Pegoraro (real estate), Tyson Dyck and Henry Ren (environmental).
