Transat to sell its Jonview Canada business unit to H.I.S.
On October 27, 2017, Transat A.T. Inc. signed an agreement for the sale of its wholly owned business unit Jonview Canada to H.I.S. Co., Ltd., for C$44 million. The price will be adjusted at closing.
Transat announced that it concluded the sale on December 1, 2017.
Jonview Canada is Canada's leading receptive operator, providing a full range of travel products and services to the international Tour Operator community.
H.I.S. is a comprehensive travel company providing a wide range of products from overseas leisure and business trips to group tours and the sale of original package tours.
