Franco-Nevada royalty over Cerro Moro Gold-Silver Mine
Torys acted as counsel to Franco-Nevada in its US$23.5 million acquisition of a 2% NSR royalty on Yamana Gold, Inc.'s Cerro Moro gold-silver project in Argentina from AngloGold Ashanti Ltd.
The royalty covers approximately 160 km² of the property including a significant portion of the Mineral Resources which are contained in high-grade epithermal gold and silver veins.
Construction at Cerro Moro was completed in 2018, with commercial production declared in June 2018.
