Torys partner Mark Bain acted as counsel to Ontario Realty Corporation as the public authority for the C$45 million Archives of Ontario PPP project to design, build, finance and operate a new state-of-the-art archives facility at York University's main campus in Toronto, Ontario.
The self-contained, 130,000 ft² academic research facility encompasses three floors and features mechanical and electrical systems that allow temperature and humidity levels to be maintained within the vault areas, which houses over C$400 million in archive collections owned by the Province of Ontario.
