Daniel graduated Gold Medalist for achieving the highest standing in the faculty of law at the University of Ottawa and was awarded the George W. Ainslie Memorial Prize. Additionally, Daniel was awarded several course prizes, including the Blake, Cassels & Graydon Prize in Business Organizations, the Honorable Vincent Drouin Prize in Constitutional Law, Hugh G. Doyle Memorial Prize in Family Law, the Vincent Dagenais Gibson Prize in Civil Procedure, and the Honorable Ray Lawson Prize for the highest first-year student standing.
