Before joining Torys, Rebecca completed her articles at Legal Aid NL, where she managed and prepared client files for court appearances and assisted duty counsel with legal and administrative duties.

Rebecca is a certified E-Discovery Specialist in Canada and serves as Co-Vice Chair of the Executive Committee for the CBA-NS Women Lawyers Forum Section.

Upon graduating from law school, Rebecca received the Thomas Burchell Memorial Good Citizen Prize in Law (Law Students’ Society Award), which is awarded to the graduating student who is voted by the graduating class as most supportive of fellow students during their education.
