Adam is recognized for his industry-leading experience in complex commercial arrangements and relationship agreements involving financial institutions, sports leagues and other leading organizations, acting as a trusted advisor for all stages of the commercial procurement process.
Co-head of Torys’ Commercial Contracting and Transactions Practice, Adam advises clients on complex relationship agreements, joint venture agreements and shareholder arrangements. Adam also assists clients on outsourcing transactions and on the acquisition, licensing and conveyancing of mission critical technology and other intellectual property. He has played a leading role on major commercial arrangements undertaken by clients and has a long history of running large-scale transactions and consortium arrangements for Canada’s major financial institutions.
Adam is also the coordinator of Torys’ Corporate Department. In addition to his commercial contracting and transactions practice, he has extensive corporate and securities experience, supporting clients in public and private financings (including initial public offerings), and mergers and acquisitions.
