Partner and co-chair of Torys’ Competition and Foreign Investment Review practice Dany Assaf will speak at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management debate “Are Canada's So-Called ‘Oligopolies’ Holding Us Back?” taking place on October 8 in Toronto. This debate will examine whether Canada’s concentrated sectors, such as banking, telecommunications, and grocery, limit competition and consumer choice or provide the scale needed for investment, innovation, and economic stability. This even will bring together diverse perspectives on the future of Canada’s competition policy.
