Join members of our integrated development and projects litigation team for this series, as we describe how we apply a “litigation lens” to reduce risk throughout the project lifecycle, from design and approvals applications through to handling litigation when it arises: before, during, and after construction.
Securing regulatory approvals in a commercially reasonable timeframe is fundamental to getting major projects built. Defending these approvals from inevitable legal challenges is equally important.
In this session our panel will describe how the federal and provincial governments’ move to fast-track approvals could fuel strategic litigation, and how proponents should be applying a litigation lens from the earliest stages of project development to manage that risk and set themselves up for success if litigation arises.
