First Capital Realty completes C$50 million offering of senior unsecured debentures

On July 17, 2012, First Capital Realty Inc. (TSX: FCR) (the Company) closed its previously announced public offering of C$50 million aggregate principal amount of 4.43% Series O senior unsecured debentures, due January 31, 2022. The debentures were issued pursuant to the Company's trust indenture dated June 21, 2005, as supplemented, and rank equally with the Company's issued and outstanding senior unsecured debentures. The offering was underwritten on a bought deal basis by a syndicate of underwriters co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc. and including BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., CIBC World Markets Inc., Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and Scotia Capital Inc.
The offering was a reopening of the offering of C$100 million aggregate principal amount of series O senior unsecured debentures that closed on June 1, 2012.
The net proceeds of the offering will be used for development and redevelopment activities, acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
