Before Torys, Mukisa was practicing plaintiff-side personal injury and class action litigation. She graduated from law school, receiving the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society Presidents' Leadership Award.
Mukisa is a Certified e-Discovery Specialist (Canada) and holds a Relativity - Gen AI Pro Certification.
Mukisa is actively engaged in professional and community organizations that complement her practice. She is Co-Vice-Chair of the CBA-NS Women Lawyers Forum, a Board Member of the Canadian Blue Wellness Association, and Co-Founder of Fem Entity, a women’s wellness platform.
