
Georgia’s practice focuses on competition law and foreign investment review matters. She provides advice to clients on all aspects of Canadian competition law in connection with complex mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances under the Competition Act. Georgia’s practice also includes advising on potentially anti-competitive business practices as well as compliance under the Competition Act.
Before joining Torys, Georgia practiced class action litigation with a focus on price-fixing, consumer protection, and securities matters.
During law school, Georgia served as a Team Lead at Western’s Community Legal Services and competed in the 2021–2022 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, where her team ranked among the top eight teams globally. Prior to law school, Georgia gained experience in the technology and talent sectors, working at an international cybersecurity company and a professional recruitment consultancy.
