Partner Chris Kinnear Hunter will speak at the 38th Annual ITA Workshop and Annual Meeting taking place June 10-12 in Houston, Texas. The meeting will explore evolving challenges to consent, legitimacy and party autonomy in international arbitration across global dispute contexts.

Chris will speak on the panel “Treaty Claims vs. Contract Claims: Old Debate, Continuous Relevance?” on June 11 at 11:40 a.m. The panel will examine the relevance of the distinction between treaty and contract claims in arbitration, including its implications for jurisdiction, strategy and enforcement amid evolving jurisprudence.
