Torys is an “outstanding training ground” says Tribunals Ontario executive director

Before Harry Gousopoulos became the executive director of Tribunals Ontario, his career started at Torys, where he articled and later practiced as an associate. In an interview with Lexpert, Harry reflected on his positive experience at Torys and how his time at the firm informed his career.

Torys is “an outstanding training ground for a young lawyer and professional,” Harry said to Lexpert, noting that he was exposed to complex deals and a culture of collaboration while at Torys.

“You’re surrounded by the best and brightest minds. You have exposure to complex and large-scale transactions. And you’re supporting some of the largest and most reputable companies and clients in the country,” he said.

Thanks to his time at Torys, Harry says that “precision, attention to detail, responsiveness, and relationship building” continues to inform his leadership style at Tribunals Ontario.
