Happy Chinese New Year from Torys

Torys would like to wish those celebrating a happy Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year—also known as Lunar New Year—marks the turn of the lunisolar calendar year.

The holiday is a significant one for many people across the world with celebrations lasting for up to 15 days. Lion and dragon dances, fireworks, gathering with friends and family, and giving red envelopes are some celebrations that take place.

Chinese New Year this year is on February 16, the day of the first new moon between January 21 and February 20. This year is the year of the Dog.
