Torys is proud to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its Calgary office, marking a milestone built on deep client relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to supporting business growth in Western Canada and beyond.
Launched in 2011 to support clients nationally and globally, Torys’ Calgary office has grown from a team of seven to a team of more than 70. The office has expanded its services and capabilities to help clients navigate increasingly complex business and regulatory environments. Today, the Calgary office serves clients with operations in 74 countries across 47 time zones on six continents—all while maintaining the experienced, collaborative practice style and creativity that defines Torys across Canada.

In the last three years alone, Torys’ Calgary office has worked on nearly $100 billion in transactions in Canada and globally. The team has advised clients across oil and gas, renewables, pipelines and infrastructure, including projects developed in partnership with Indigenous communities. Torys is proud to play a role in helping clients bring Alberta’s energy resources to global markets and diversify the province’s dynamic economy.
