Mitch Frazer one of Canada’s 25 most influential lawyers

Torys is proud to announce that partner Mitch Frazer has been recognized as one of Canada’s 25 Most Influential lawyers by Canadian Lawyer.

The list, in its 10th year, annually profiles five lawyers across five different areas. Mitch was named one of the most influential lawyers in the business category.

In creating the list, Canadian Lawyer studied the legal landscape over the past 18 months to see not only legal successes, but also of the level of leadership and influence of lawyers in the broader communities in which they operate. Once the nominations are narrowed down based on that methodology, a list of candidates is published online and the readership of Canadian Lawyer readers is polled for their input.

Over the years, Mitch’s professional and community leadership has received attention. In addition to being routinely recognized by a wide range of reputable legal rankings and directories, a few notable recent accolades include: this year, Mitch was the recipient of the Ontario Bar Association Award of Excellence in Pension and Benefits Law; in 2017, he won Globe Business Media Group’s Client Choice Award for Employment and Benefits; and in 2013, Mitch was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, which recognizes “significant contributions and achievements by Canadians.”
