Nevada Copper completes C$40 million equity offering

On May 16, 2019, Nevada Copper Corp. (“Nevada Copper”) completed a public offering of 61,950,000 common shares at a price of C$0.40 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately C$24.8 million. In addition, concurrent with the closing of the public offering, Nevada Copper also completed a private placement of an aggregate of 38,052,313 common shares at a price of C$0.40 per share for gross proceeds of approximately C$15.2 million.

The public offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters led by National Bank Financial Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, acting as joint book-runners.

The net proceeds of both offerings are expected to be used for various purposes, including the construction and ramp-up of Nevada Copper’s underground mine at its Pumpkin Hollow Copper Project.
