Dream Industrial REIT completes C$144 million equity offering

On June 29, 2018, Dream Industrial REIT (the "Trust") announced the closing of its previously announced equity offering of units at a price of C$10.35 per unit. The syndicate of underwriters, led by TD Securities Inc., elected to exercise its over-allotment option in full, resulting in a total of 13,915,000 units being issued for total gross proceeds of C$144,020,250.

The Trust intends to use the proceeds from the equity offering to fund acquisitions, to partially fund the redemption of its outstanding 5.25% convertible debentures and for general trust purposes.

Dream Industrial REIT is an unincorporated, open-ended real estate investment trust. It owns and operates a portfolio of 219 geographically diversified light industrial properties comprising approximately 19 million square feet of gross leasable area located primarily in key markets across Canada with a growing presence in the United States.
