Brampton Civic Hospital
Torys partners Mark Bain and Dan Ford acted as counsel to Healthcare Infrastructure Company of Canada (Borealis/Carillion/EllisDon) as the successful proponent for the C$550 million Brampton Civic Hospital (formerly William Osler Health Centre) PPP project to design, build, finance and maintain a new 608 bed hospital in Brampton, Ontario.

The project was among the first PPP hospital projects undertaken in Ontario and included the construction of a new 1.2 million square-foot acute care hospital containing 608 beds and 20 operating rooms.
