Sun Life acquires Bell Partners

On July 2, 2026, Sun Life Financial Inc. (“Sun Life”) announced it completed its previously announced acquisition, dated March 30, 2026, of Bell Partners Inc. (“Bell Partners”) for US$350 million with approximately 80% of the purchase price payable in Sun Life common shares.
Bell Partners is a leading U.S. multifamily real estate investment manager and vertically integrated property management business. It will become the U.S. multifamily operating platform operating under BGO, Sun Life’s global real estate investment management advisor and provider of real estate services.
