OSU Comprehensive Energy Management Project
Torys acted as counsel to the lenders to Brookfield Asset Management and Enwave District Energy, a shortlisted proponent for the Ohio State University (OSU) Comprehensive Energy Management project to acquire, operate and expand the utility system at OSU's Columbus Campus under a long-term lease and concession agreement.
The project will see the modernization of the university’s 485-building Columbus campus, create substantial academic benefits and establish a major center for energy research and technology commercialization.
