Glenarm Solar Power Plant
Torys acted as counsel to DIF Infra 3 RE Canada in the C$52 million non-recourse, construction plus term financing made available by Natixis, NordLB and Rabobank to finance its acquisition of the 10 MW Glenarm Solar Power Project from Canadian Solar Inc.
The ground-mount project stretches over an area of about 74 acres and utilizes Canadian Solar's CS6X photovoltaic (PV) modules. It reached commercial operation in November 2014 and the power generated is sold under a 20-year feed-in-tariff contract to Ontario Power Authority.
Torys acted as counsel with a team led by Scott Kraag.
