Drivers Examination Services
Torys acted as counsel to Forum Social Infrastructure Services as a shortlisted proponent for the Driver Examination Services PPP project to provide driver examination services and to upgrade and maintain the information technology systems at 55 DriveTest Centres and 39 Travel Points across the Province of Ontario.
In addition to upgrading and maintaining technology systems, responsibilities under the contract include
- providing knowledge and driving tests to individuals applying for or renewing driver's licenses in any class
- maintaining and operating a network of Drive Test facilities and Travel Point facilities (part-time locations)
- responding to customer inquiries and complaints
