Bluewater Wind Energy Centre
Torys acted as counsel to NextEra Energy Canada in the development and construction of its 60 MW Bluewater Wind Energy Centre in Huron County, Ontario, including advice on initial acceptance under OPA's FIT program, the renewable energy approval (REA) application and the related permitting and approval processes.
Located in Bluewater Township, the wind farm consists of 37 GE 1.6-100 Series turbines.
