As a derivatives and structured products specialist, Chris helps clients review, structure, negotiate and document derivatives and structured products for hedging and investment purposes.

Chris has led and served on teams acting on corporate transactions, including advising on M&A transactions and representing issuers and underwriters on public securities offerings.
Chris has developed and presented webinars, seminars, workshops and lectures on financial instruments and other legal topics for Torys’ clients, lawyers and students and for continuing legal education conferences and post-secondary programs.
Chris spent two years in London, UK where he was seconded to the corporate department of international law firm Allen & Overy and a year at international law firm Nishimura and Sanada (now Nishimura & Asahi) in Tokyo, Japan.
