Sarah’s practice focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on private equity and private fund formation. She has experience representing public pension plans and other institutional investors in connection with their investments in private equity, venture capital and hedge funds and co-investment transactions.
Sarah regularly represents a number of institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds, including: Alberta Investment Management Corporation, CPP Investments , Ivanhoé Cambridge, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board, Public Sector Pension Investment Board, OPSEU Pension Trust, Northleaf Capital Partners, HarbourVest Partners, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, as well as other pension fund clients.
Sarah has recently advised clients in connection with the following funds: Elm Park Credit Opportunities Fund III, Energy Capital Partners IV, Butterfly Fund II, Bain Capital Europe Fund V, Starwood Energy Infrastructure Fund III, TPG Real Estate III, Patria Private Equity Fund VI, Georgian Partners Growth Fund IV, KKR Real Estate Partners Americas II, Beacon Capital Strategic Partners 8, Blackstone Property Partners Europe and Blackstone Real Estate Partners Asia II.
