Geneviève Bertrand's practice focuses on corporate/commercial litigation, class actions, broker/dealer litigation and regulatory matters as well as food and drug regulatory law. Geneviève has been involved in a wide range of actions in various areas including product liability, breach of contract, statutory claims, mass tort and negligence. She has represented clients in the banking, pharmaceutical, energy, retail, accounting, medical, forestry and tobacco sectors. Geneviève also regularly provides advice to multinational corporations regarding consumer protection legislation and language requirements for doing business in Québec. Geneviève has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Québec, before the Superior Court of Justice and an administrative tribunal in Ontario, in the Federal Court and in commercial arbitrations.
Geneviève is fluent in French and English.
