Ajax Biomass-fired Cogeneration Facility
Torys acted as counsel to Index Energy in the development, financing and construction of its 17.8 MW biomass-fired cogeneration facility in Ajax, Ontario.
The facility became operational in February 2015. All power generated from the facility is sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a 20 year power purchase agreement.
Torys acted as counsel with a team led by Jonathan Weisz.
