Alberta Schools Alternative Procurement II
Torys acted as counsel to Bilfinger Berger Project Investments as a shortlisted proponent for the Alberta Schools Alternative Procurement II PPP project to design, build, finance and maintain ten new schools in and around Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta.
Comprised of approximately 759,900 square feet of total building space and capacity for more than 7,900 students, the ten state-of-the-art schools are based upon modified standard core school designs, with the permanent core building housing the essential elements of a school and complemented by high performance modular classrooms that can be added or removed as required.

- Westmount Elementary- Jr. High School, Okotoks
