Talbot Wind Farm

Constructed on approximately 9,000 acres of private agricultural land, the wind farm consists of 43 Siemens SWT-2.3-101 turbines, each with a rated capacity of 2.3 MW.

The project achieved commercial operation in December 2010. The power generated by the facility is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

On November 30, 2009, Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. (RES Canada), an affiliate of RES Americas, and Enbridge Inc. (TSX, NYSE: ENB) completed a transaction to develop a 99 megawatt Talbot Wind Energy Project (the project) near Chatham, Ontario in which Enbridge will have a majority interest.

The total investment in the project by both parties is approximately C$285 million. The project will be structured as a limited partnership owned by RES Canada and Enbridge. Construction of the project will be undertaken by RES Canada under contract to the partnership.
