
Alina’s practice focuses on commercial real estate law. She frequently acts on behalf of pension funds, asset managers, developers, and energy and infrastructure companies on a broad range of matters, including single-asset or portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions. Her experience spans a variety of asset classes, including office, commercial, industrial, multi-residential, and vacant land.
Alina’s academic achievements include numerous awards from Osgoode Hall Law School, including the Gowling WLG Prize in Securities Regulation, the Art and Science of Advocacy Prize, the Jack Walker Q.C. Award for Excellence in Legal Ethics and Professionalism, and a Dean’s Gold Key.
Alina also received recognition from Osgoode Hall Law School for achieving a cumulative academic standing within the top 4% of her graduating class.
Alina clerked with the Court of King's Bench of Alberta in 2022.
Alina is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), the Association of Women Lawyers, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Law Society of Alberta.
Alina currently serves on the board of directors of the West Hillhurst Community Association, where she contributes governance and strategic oversight to the association.
