Torys is proud to announce its collaboration with the University of Toronto Early-Stage Technology (UTEST) Program.
UTEST gives entrepreneurs the mentorship, investment capital, education and dedicated incubation space needed to scale a deep tech venture. As the Program’s legal partner, Torys will provide ventures with legal advice and services as they move toward commercialization.
Konata Lake, Head of Torys’ Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice, applauded the Program.
“UTEST is an integral part of the Canadian innovation ecosystem, and we are delighted to partner with them to support entrepreneurs as they move from research to market,” Konata said.
“This partnership allows Torys to expand our direct support for early-stage founders through co-created educational programming and strategic counsel.”
“Torys’ expertise in Life Science, Deep Tech and their reach across Canada and the US give our companies an advantage,” said Kurtis Scissons, Director University Ventures, University of Toronto.
