Legal Lessons: Teens Learn About the Law

CTV recently reported on Law in Action with Schools (LAWS), a program that introduces high school students to the legal system, the profession and legal issues, and encourages them to become interested in a legal careers.

"We want to equip you with the skills and confidence you need to be able to ask all of those questions and advocate for yourselves and advocate for your families," said Cornell Wright to Toronto high school students. Torys participates in the LAWS program, mentoring students and inviting them to events and workshops where they can gain valuable experience and learn about working in a law firm.
