Torys and Hennick Centre for Business and Law host Business in India speaker series

The Hennick Centre for Business and Law, a joint initiative of York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business, held its fall speaker series event, "Investment and Expansion in India: Experiences and Encounters" at Torys' Toronto office.

Co-sponsored by Torys, the event attracted business professionals, lawyers and law students interested in the importance of India in the global economy. The speakers included Preeti Saran, Consul General of India to Toronto, and Professor Vinayshil Gautam. Saran spoke of the Indian government's policies to encourage foreign investment in India and India's excellent bilateral relations with Canada concerning the education, mining, and energy industries. Gautam outlined aspects of doing business in India and encouraged the audience to learn more about the country.
